Students First
Our school prioritizes the needs of adolescents in their unique stage of development. This includes social-emotional needs, and support for life skills and attitudes that are still in development. We want to help our students become the people they want to become and support their current interests while preparing them to succeed in any future setting.
私たちの学校は、思春期特有の発達段階にある子どもたちのニーズを優先しています。これには、社会的情緒的なニーズや、まだ発達段階にある生活スキルや態度のサポートが含まれます。 私たちは、生徒が将来どのような環境でも成功できるように準備しながら、生徒がなりたい自分になるのを助け、現在の興味をサポートしたいと考えています。

Curiosity
Adolescents are naturally curious and novel seeking. We encourage inquiry and exploration as part of the process of development and learning. Our classes are designed to allow students to follow their curiosity in order to gain knowledge and experience as they interact in a social setting with fellow learners and at least one guide/teacher.

Choice & Responsibility
Students are given many choices as part of every session, however, they are required to follow through. Just like in life students are held responsible for their choices. Essential agreements are a part of any class or group work and students will have voice in the development of each. Once the agreement has been made however, students are expected to follow through.

More Knowlegable Other
There will be times when students are more knowledgable about a topic or have greater skill in a particular area than other students or even teachers. Students may take on leadership roles at these times in group projects to develop leadership in collaboration. This will help prepare them to be good communicators and will continue their development in that area as teaching often deepens ones understanding of any topic.
生徒には、毎回多くの選択肢が与えられますが、その選択に従うことが要求されます。 人生と同じように、生徒は自分の選択に責任を持つことになるのです。クラスやグループワークでは、必要不可欠な取り決めがあり、生徒はそれぞれの取り決めの作成に発言します。 しかし、いったん合意がなされれば、生徒はそれを実行することが求められます。

Teachers create prompts and experiences that will help students explore interests, strengths, & weaknesses and will guide them to reflect upon their experiences to develop maturity.

Teachers will hold students accountable to their agreements and create practices to help them develop 21 Century Skills and Attitudes that will serve them as they move forward.

Full Time Member Students will be assigned mentors who will meet with them and discuss personal goals and create an agreed upon Personal Education Plan.

Communication Environment
While The primary language of the school will be in English, this schools goal is not to teach students English but to teach communication and adaptation regardless of mother tongue language. Students will identify their mother tongue and the languages they think best in and will be encouraged to think and make use of that language. Final project presentations however, will be submitted in English as practice towards global communication skills. This is a practice known as "Translanguaging" and has been shown to be the most effective way for multilingual students to learn. Students and Faculty will make use of the latest in Ai and translation tools in order to communicate where necessary, thus preparing them for truly global communication.

The Measure of Success
Success in our full program will be measured by the development of a portfolio. Students will curate their own portfolio of experiences and competencies that will serve as evidence of their knowledge, growth, and experience. Students will be expected to add regular reflections into their portfolio and develop it over time with a final presentation of what they have developed in themselves. Graduates of our program will be ready to show what they can do to any prospective investors, clients, employers, or institutions.
